Fenrir, also called Fenrisúlfr or Fenris Wolf, is a formidable wolf in Norse mythology. According to the legend, Fenrir is one of Loki and the giantess Angrboða's three monstrous offspring. He is portrayed as a colossal and terrifying wolf that is frequently depicted as being restrained with indestructible bonds.
