In the shadows of 1948, Japan's most feared warriors operate far from the front lines. The legendary Ninjas of Japan are professional assassins, saboteurs, and terrorists — but also students of philosophy, worshipers of ancient religion, and practitioners of dark arts. Many serve as a 5th column of secret agents who infiltrate foreign countries before the Japanese army invades, spreading disinformation and fear while eliminating civilian leaders who resist the military's will.

Masters of Shadow and Steel

This supplement details the d20 Modern Ninja prestige class as it appears in the 1948 Campaign World. Ninjas are masters of stealth and combat who cast a limited number of divine spells, practice the secret martial art of ninjutsu, and are often associated with underground organizations like the League of Blood or the Black Dragons. The supplement also introduces Dragonfly, a 12th-level Ninja NPC with full history, personality, and combat tactics.
