Once, Etherium was plentiful and the land was peaceful. Now it has dwindled, and elite spellcasters battle to control the last place this primal resource can be harnessed — the Godsforge. This is the original First Edition of the game that started it all, and every expansion ever released is fully compatible with both editions.
How the Godsforge Works
Each round, all players simultaneously roll four dice, then secretly choose one of their four cards to play face-down. Cards are revealed in any order, with costs paid via specific dice results, the sum of rolled dice, veilstones, or a combination. Ones are wild. An unused six earns a veilstone. Spells deliver one-shot effects; Creations enter play with attack and defense values, sacrifice abilities, and sometimes powerful enter-play triggers. Once all cards resolve, players compare attack versus defense and deal damage. Eliminated players start dealing damage to everyone still in the game — keeping the pressure on until the very end.
