OAR #9 – Caverns of Thracia | Original Adventures Reincarnated

For a thousand years, evil has skulked in the darkness of forgotten vaults and concealed passages. Meanwhile, the surface dwellers bicker and squabble, unwary of a lingering malevolence. And still, they wait…

Caverns of Thracia is one of the true classics of the old-school era — a sprawling megadungeon first published by Judges Guild and now reincarnated by Goodman Games for modern play. This entry in the Original Adventures Reincarnated series presents the dungeon in both its original format and updated for 5th Edition and Old-School Essentials, with extensive historical context, designer commentary, and new art alongside the iconic original.

Designed for characters starting at 1st level, the campaign is sprawling enough to occupy a table for at least a year of play, culminating at 10th level. The Caverns reward exploration, clever play, and the willingness to push deeper into a dungeon that has been swallowing adventurers since the beginning of the hobby.
