Written in 1931, H.P. Lovecraft's iconic genre-bending tale of suspense and alien terror is brought to life in the style of classic horror films of the 1930s — think Frankenstein, Dracula, and King Kong. Using the HPLHS Mythoscope™ process — a blend of vintage and modern filmmaking techniques — the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society expands on Lovecraft's original tale while delivering unparalleled authenticity.

Horror and science fiction collide in the adventure of Albert Wilmarth, a folklore professor at Miskatonic University, who investigates legends of strange creatures rumored to dwell in the remote mountains of Vermont. What he discovers is far beyond anything he imagined — and his desperate attempt to escape with life and sanity intact makes for one of the most celebrated Lovecraft adaptations ever made.

"A genuinely scary film and a hellishly great time." — BloodyDisgusting.com
