The Witcher: Old World – Mages Expansion

The Witcher: Old World gets a whole new dimension with the Mages Expansion. Where witchers hunt for trophies and reputation, mages pursue power through politics, magical ingredients, and the occasional tavern brawl. This expansion adds five fully realized mage characters to the game, each with a unique miniature, individual deck of Action Cards, a player board with a personal specialty, and a Board extension that reflects how mages train and fight differently from witchers.

Mages in the Old World

Mages are not just powerful — they're complicated. Traveling the Continent, entangled in political intrigues both grand and petty, they gather magical ingredients from the same beasts witchers hunt for trophies. In the Old World, that puts them in direct competition. Mages and witchers can now face off across the same board, but they play by their own rules: different training, different combat style, different path to fame. If you've mastered the base game, this expansion adds the strategic depth and asymmetry that makes every session feel new.
