Titananos Pewter Dragon – Myth and Magic Collectible Figurine

With crystal-embedded wings outstretched, a guardian dragon watches over his keep in the land of Methtintdour. Sculpted from pewter, the figure is adorned with a 1.75-inch octagonal Austrian crystal marking his den, bringing a bright focal point to this substantial fantasy collectible.

A numbered piece with a story to tell

Part of the Tudor Mint Independent collection within Myth and Magic, this is a numbered figure from a production run of only 1,250 pieces. It is offered brand new in its original box with a certificate, details that make its history as much a part of the appeal as the sculpture itself.

The dragon stands approximately 11.5 inches tall without its wooden base and 12.5 inches with the base. Together, the figure and base weigh a little less than 12 pounds. Consider both its height and weight when choosing a display spot.

The Tudor Mint collection’s provenance

Wondertrail made a special purchase of all remaining Tudor Mint dragons and figurines, which were well over ten years old at the time of the supplier’s original writing in 2018. Tudor Mint was a time-honored British company that closed its doors in 2008 after more than 100 years in business. According to that account, all its known remaining works of art had reached the United States and were in Wondertrail’s possession. The supplier described the pieces as brand new and collectible because of their limited supply, age, quality and the disintegration of the manufacturer. The original account also noted that this figure’s last production had been more than a decade earlier.
