Monster Templates: Headless Horseman

With a hip-hip and a clippity-clop
He's out looking for a head to swap
So don't try to figure out a plan
You can't reason with a headless man!

Turn your NPC or favorite humanoid monstrosity into a decapitated rider who haunts the trails, paths, and roads that pass through the wilderness. Turn the quest for its lost head into your next adventure or make the horseman the servant of your true villain through possession of the horseman's head. Give the rider unique mounts or leave it with the traditional horse. The original listing also suggests an iconic mercenary or a female dragon rider.

A Headless Rider for Your Game

Use the familiar terror of the headless horseman or put a new spin on the rider for your Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. The original listing credits the same author as The Book of Monster Templates, 101 Not So Simple Monster Templates and 101 Monster Feats.
