Build a castle together, tell the story of its decline, then compete to control the dungeon it becomes. This tabletop roleplaying game for 1–6 players combines cooperative storytelling with competitive network-building across three connected phases.

Build the Castle, Shape Its Ruin, Claim the Dungeon

First, players collaborate on the castle's story and use a standard deck of playing cards to add rooms and build its physical layout. Over the following centuries, rooms are destroyed, changed and sometimes rebuilt as the group describes the catastrophes that leave the castle in ruins.

In the final phase, each player controls a faction with its own entrance and special ability. Players take turns claiming rooms and extending their territories. A room's value depends on its original type and how badly it was damaged. Once every room is claimed, the faction with the highest total wins the Throne Room.

The finished dungeon can become a location for a later fantasy roleplaying session, with competing factions, lore, traps, monsters and other characters already established through play.
