Breath of Life: The Marshal is our eighth product in the Breath of Life product line. It updates the leadership class of the same name from the 3.5 edition of a very popular table-top roleplaying system, though it is not a copy-paste update. No, this is a re-imagining of the class using new and updated mechanics and systems to make it more dynamic and powerful compared to its original iterations. The book has the following:
- An all-new, 1-20 focused on directing and boosting allies in combat.
- 12 archetypes to tailor your marshal to your play style or character, like the chevalier or raid leader.
- 14 archetypes to bring leadership and combat options to other classes, like the captain for the fighter or war chanter for the bard,
- A new heroic cavalier order and battle-bathed lathspell curse.
- 41 new feats centered around combat and leadership.
- 32 spells.
- New banners, heraldic crests and other magic items.
- An example NPC that uses the class mechanics you can use as a guide or as an NPC to interact with your players.
