The solution: a smaller, faster, cheaper warship that could handle escort and patrol duties without the operational costs of larger vessels.

When Congress authorized the Strikemaster-class in 2293, the choice to revive the "brig" classification raised eyebrows — the US hadn't operated one since the age of sail. But the logic was sound: the new design performed exactly the same roles as frigates and corvettes of old, at a fraction of the cost. This supplement brings that ship fully to life with beautiful exterior views, complete deckplans, full statistics, a set of adventure hooks, and a short story by Bradley Warnes.
