Prelude to War is a Fifth Edition adventure for one to seven characters of 1st to 3rd level, optimized for a party of four at APL 1. Designed for the Amazons vs Valkyries setting — a mythic world where Greek and Norse warriors clash across the ancient world — it adapts easily to any fantasy campaign.

At 94 pages, this is a full-length adventure spanning three acts of escalating tension: joining your squad in Panormus, traveling to Telikos to meet a spymaster, infiltrating Roman territory, and fighting your way back out with critical intelligence that could change the course of the war.
