And we make a few suggestions on how to incorporate each hero into your own RPGs.
In this issue we take a look at one of the pioneering female heroes of the Golden Age and the first female superhero created by a woman, cartoonist June Tarpé Mills. The character first appeared as the Black Fury in a Sunday comic strip distributed by Bell Syndicate in 1941, and soon became known as Miss Fury.
Now, nearly eighty years after the original Miss Fury disappeared, young nursing student Maria Perez discovers the legendary Panther Suit hidden inside an abandoned storage unit. The enchanted costume transforms her into a superhuman predator, granting incredible strength, speed, agility, razor-sharp claws, and the uncanny ability to manipulate fortune itself.
Now prowling the rooftops and streets of Chicago, Maria battles gangsters, supervillains, and enemies inherited from the original Miss Fury. But the Panther Suit brings more than power. Its magic awakens a savage side of Maria she is not entirely certain she can control.
