Lone Star – Solo Roleplaying Rules, Warden Emulation & Crew Tools for Mothership RPG

Play Mothership RPG without a Warden using simple mechanics designed to fit its gameplay. These solo rules turn the questions you would normally ask a Warden into prompts for your own improvisation, helping you develop challenges and decide when the situation takes an unexpected turn.
Solo play offers a way to learn the game and test your first adventures beyond character creation. Keep the focus on a single crew member under your control while using the supporting-crew tools to bring other agendas into the story.
Warden Emulation
Mothership is not just a matter of rolling skills at every challenge. Imaginative play and the pressure created by the Warden are central to the experience. The emulation rules provide prompts for your questions and suggest points where plot twists or new threats can disrupt your character’s plans.
Your Crew
The rules recommend a single main crew member as the focus of solo play. Stress and panic spreading through the crew still matter, so the supplement includes tools for creating supporting crew members who act according to their own agendas. You do not have to roleplay each of them as a complete player character.
