The Book of Many Things Volume 2 is the latest repository of options built from fan requests related to its theme. Inside is a compilation of character options related to different video games, movies, cartoons, and other mediums; fleshed out and made playable. Surprise enemies with your array of combat options as a generational hero. Hunt dragon pirates through the realities, or become one yourself. Become a master of whip, sword, and cross as you stalk the creatures that go bump in the night. You could even become an outlaw, beast master, or shadow priest. A variety of different races, classes, archetypes, feats, and spells await within the Book of Many Things Volume 2.

  • Potentialists harness potential energy and use it to interact with others in combat while remaining perfectly still.
  • Priests of Volwryn balance the magic of light and shadow, shifting their specialization as the need arises.
  • Pythia are based on the Sisters of Karn from Doctor Who. They can change their shape and use druidic magic spontaneously.
  • Revokers steal magic from spellcasters, preventing them from using it against the revoker and their allies.
  • Symbiants are otherworldly beings that bond to their host and improve their combat ability.

Character Options

  • New warg convergence allows you to channel your mind through nearby animals.
  • Noble paths offer a specific benefit for your chosen ancestry to make them better.

Spell lists for new classes, as well as 16 new spells

  • Spell chains allow multiple spellcasters to contribute to a greater magical effect by casting specific spells in order.

Magic Items

  • Fantasian orbs can be used for temporary increases or attached to specific equipment for powerful benefits.
  • Discovery items can be found on slain enemies randomly by characters with the Harness Discovery item creation feat. They include options like mushrooms that enlarge you, flowers that grant you fire magic
  • 17 different Magical locations, which are areas of the world imbued with powerful magic that can be drawn on by those who remain long enough to understand them.

Equipment

  • Buster blades, gunblades, and strike balls all harken back to Final Fantasy weapon ideas, and bokochi make great mounts.
  • Bastard weapons can be wielded in one or two hands.
  • Tower weapons are more complex, two-handed weapons.
  • Break open a specialized bottle to regain health, magic, or both.
  • Eldritch organs are like cybertech, but magical in nature. They include things like an adamantine skeleton and strange additions to other body parts.
